Please, Just Let Me Sleep Forever By: Alyssa Trop Please, Just Let Me Sleep Forever is a personal narrative following a sequence of surreal events that I’ve translated from my experience with depression. My attempt was to convey my intense feelings of emptiness as well as the desire to only sleep so that I could escape that emptiness. I used a hand-drawn animation technique for this piece that includes pencil, ink, and acrylic paint.
